Three Brown Women's Soccer Players Named All-Ivy

Nov. 19, 2001

Senior co-captain Kim Lanzire (Bristol, RI) and sophomores Kristin Ferrell (Concord, MA) and Hayley Sennott (Boxford, MA) earned 2001 Women's Soccer All-Ivy honors.

Lanzire, a second-team selection, is making her second appearance on an All-Ivy team, after earning first team honors last season. She led the Bears in scoring for the second consecutive year with 3-4-10 totals and finished her career with 17-9-43 totals.

Ferrell and Sennott are each making their first appearances on the All-Ivy Team, earning honorable mention honors. The second-leading scorer on the team, Ferrell finished the season with 2-2-6 totals, playing most of the season at the sweeper position, due to an injured Brown team. The sophomore has 4-7-15 totals in two years and will return next season as the leading-returning scorer for the Bears. Sennott scored two goals on the season, the first two of her career, playing the majority of the season at back, also due to the injured Brown squad. She will return next season as the fourth-leading scorer.

The Brown women's soccer team finished the season with a 3-11-1 record, and will return eight of the top-ten scorers from this year for next season.
