PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown University women's soccer team (7-10, 2-5) dropped a 1-0 decision to Yale (13-4, 5-2) in an Ivy League contest at Stevenson Field. Both teams had chances to score in the back-and-forth overtime thriller, that ended 4:43 into the first overtime.

The winning goal came when Jamie Ortega deflected in a Jessica Berggren cross right in front of the goal. Yale had dominated regulation, outshooting the Bears 21-5, but junior Hilary Wilson (Monterey, CA) stood strong in net, posting 10 saves.

Sophomore Kathryn Moos (Wayzata, MN) led the offensive effort for Brown, posting three shots. With the 10 saves, Wilson tied Brown's single-season save mark of 145, set by Kathy Kostic '87 in 1986.

Tonight's contest marked the final career game for Brown seniors Kim Hagner (San Francisco, CA) and Michelle Sriwongtong (Rosemead, CA), who were honored along with their parents, before the game.
