Bears Close out Season with 3-0 Loss at Yale

NEW HAVEN, CT - The Brown University women's soccer team (5-10-2, 1-4-2) closed out the 2005 season on Saturday evening in New Haven, CT and fell to Yale (13-3-1, 5-1-1), 3-0, the Bears' only loss this season that did not come by a one-goal margin.
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead just 12:04 into the game and never looked back, scoring two more goals before night's end. Yale added its second of the game at 35:17 and then scored the final goal just 1:35 into the second half, at 46:35.
The Yale defense was tight all night, as Brown took just three shots on the night, two of which reached the goal.
Sophomore Anne Friedland (Toronto, ONT) and junior Kathryn Moos (Wayzata, MN) each registered one shot on goal, while senior Kim LaVere (Chatsworth, CA) tallied the other Brown shot. Senior Hilary Wilson (Monterey, CA) recorded four saves in net as Brown was outshot 11-3 for the game.
