Women's Soccer Drops Tough Game To Number 12 Princeton

Princeton, NJ - The Brown Women's Soccer Team (4-6-0, 1-2-0) dropped an Ivy League match-up 2-0, to Princeton (9-1-0, 3-0-0) on Saturday afternoon at Lourie-Love Field on the Princeton campus. Brown has struggled when traveling away from Stevenson field, going 0-6 this season on the road.
The Tigers opened the scoring at 18:28 mark, with a header off a corner kick to give Princeton an early 1-0 lead. Princeton doubled its lead seven minutes after halftime off a free kick, which was tucked just inside the left post. Junior goalie Hillary Wilson (Monterey, CA) recorded six saves as Brown was out shot 22-2.
Sophomore Kathryn Moos (Wayzata, MN) and freshman Anne Friedland (Toronto, ONT) each had a shot in tonight's loss. The Bears will return to action Wednesday October 13th, when they will travel to Storrs, CT to take on Connecticut, for a 5:00 kick-off.
