Carrie Lysik

Position: Assistant Coach
Carrie Lysik began her first year as an assistant coach with the Bears this past fall. She comes to Brown from Frostburg State in Maryland, where she was a head coach for the Bobcats from 1999-2001. During her tenure at Frostburg State, Lysik was named the 2001 Mason-Dixon Conference Coach of the Year, after leading her team to a 17-5 finish with a conference Championship and the school's first National Tournament appearance.

Prior to serving as the head coach, Lysik was an assistant coach for the team for two years after assisting at Allegheny College from 1996-1997. While serving as an assistant coach, Lysik helped to lead the team to an ECAC Tournament appearance in 1998. In addition, from 1998-1999, Lysik was also the head club coach of the Liverpool Lightning, which earned a #12 ranking in the nation.

A standout soccer and basketball player at Keuka College, Lysik earned Regional All-American recognition for soccer and competed in the 1996 and 1998 New York Empire State Games.

Lysik graduated from Keuka College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. She received a Master's of Education in Administration/Supervision from Frostburg State in 1999.
