![]() Brown senior tri-captain Lindsay Cunningham (Cumberland, RI) has been named a CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Third Team Academic All-American in women's soccer. A forward, Cunningham earned a spot on the District I First Team to move onto the national ballot. The Academic All-America teams are selected by the CoSIDA's (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-America committee. Cunningham is one of four student-athletes from District I to earn Academic All-America distinction and she is the only Ivy League student-athlete to earn the honor. Entering her final semester, Cunningham has a 3.83 GPA, while concentrating in Commerce, Organization, and Entrepreneurship. (MORE) ![]() Four Brown Women's Soccer Players Named All-Ivy Brown University senior Lindsay Cunningham (Cumberland, RI), juniors Bridget Ballard (Los Angeles, CA) and Brenna Hogue (Concord, CA), and sophomore Charlotte Rizzi (Bethesda, MD) have been named to the 2008 All-Ivy Women's Soccer Team as selected by the League's eight head coaches. Cunningham and Ballard were both named to the Second Team, while Rizzi and Hogue each earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors. (MORE) ![]() Stone's Overtime Goal Lifts Bears to 2-1 Win over Yale Sophomore Sylvia Stone (Bronx, NY) scored twice, netting the game-winner with 2:43 left in the second overtime, to lift the Brown women's soccer team (7-6-4, 3-3-1) to a 2-1 victory over Yale (8-7-2, 2-4-1) on rainy Saturday evening at Stevenson Field. With the win, the Bears closed out their season with a winning record, while leap-frogging past the Bulldogs in the Ivy standings to finish in fourth place.
