Brown women’s soccer seniors Amber Bledsoe (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Kiersten Berg (Salt Lake City, Utah) are two of 24 Division I New England soccer players selected to compete in the 2013 NEWISA senior bowl. The annual contest is slated for Saturday, December 7, on the campus of Merrimack College at 1 p.m.

Women’s Soccer Edges Yale in Regular Season Finale, 2-1
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Chloe Cross (Seattle, Wash.) headed in a first half goal and senior Kiersten Berg (Salt Lake City, Utah) fired in a second half tally to lift the Brown women’s soccer team over Yale, 2-1, in non-conference action at Stevenson Field on Sunday. The Bears close the book on their regular season with a 10-6-1 overall record and 4-2-1 mark in Ivy play to finish third in the league. The Bulldogs drop to 7-8-1 overall and place fifth in the Ancient Eight with a 2-4-1 showing.

Pincince Announces 2013 Women's Soccer Schedule
Head women's soccer coach Phil Pincince has announced Brown's 2013 schedule. The 17-game schedule features a pair of contests against teams that played in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, both of which advanced to the Second Round. Highlighting the home slate are games against St. John’s, Northeastern, Sacred Heart and Bryant, as well as three Ivy League contests, against Dartmouth, Princeton and Penn. The Bears will also host Harvard and Yale in non-league games.
