PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown University seniors Eliza Marshall (North Andover, MA) and Diana Ohrt (Simi Valley, CA) are two of 23 Division I soccer players in New England selected to participate in the 2012 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) annual Senior Bowl. The annual game, scheduled for Sunday, December 2nd at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA, will bring together seniors from all three divisions.
A captain, Marshall started all 17 games at forward and finished with six points (1g, 4a), while leading the Bears with four assists. During her career, Marshall played in 63 games, starting 51. An Honorable Mention All-Ivy and Second Team CoSIDA Capital One All-District selection in 2011, Marshall posted four-year totals 27 points (9g, 9a), including two game-winning goals.
A back, Ohrt played in 14 games, starting 13, while missing three games due to an injury. She contributed a goal this season, the game-winner against UMass, and helped to lead the defense to six shutouts and a team GAA of 1.10. During her career, Ohrt played in 52 games, starting 37. A Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree in 2011, Ohrt earned four-year totals of 13 points (4g, 5a), including two game-winning goals.
