PROVIDENCE, RI - Three members of the Brown women's lacrosse team are among 157 Division I student-athletes from across the country recognized on the 2007 IWLCA National Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a member of the varsity lacrosse team, must have achieved junior or senior standing academically, and must have achieved a high level of success in the classroom. Brown is also one of 43 teams to earn the 2007 IWLCA National Academic Team Award. This award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2006-2007 academic year. This year, Brown came ranks in the top-15 of the 43 schools, and is the fourth-ranked Ivy League school.
Individuals on the Brown team honored include senior Jen Redd (Towson, MD), who was named to the Honor Roll for the second straight year, and juniors Hillary Anderson (Hinesburg, VT) and Melissa King (Pepper Pike, OH).
