Kevin Hicks

Position: Assistant Coach
Kevin Hicks has earned a national reputation for developing high school and collegiate goaltenders in both men's and women's lacrosse. A 1989 graduate of Yale University, Hicks began his coaching career at The Peddie School (NJ) in 1991. He has since worked in various capacities with a range of programs, including Avon Old Farms (CT), Eastern Connecticut State University, Wellesley High School (MA), and Middlesex School (MA). Since 1993, he has played an integral role in the growth of Peak Goalie School, the nation's premier summer camp for boys' and girls' high school goaltenders. He currently serves as that camp's director of curriculum. Since 1998, he has directed a boys' all-position camp for Nike Lacrosse at Robert Louis Stevenson School (CA), his high school alma mater. From 2001 to 2003, he served as an assistant coach to Kara Tierney at Trinity College (CT). In early 2004, he will defend a dissertation on Hawthorne and Melville and receive a doctorate in English from Princeton University.
