David Evans has played for the Boston Cannons (Major League Lacrosse) since the league's inception in 2001. He was selected to the All-Star Team all five years. He won the league's fastest shot contest three years in a row and holds the fastest shot (109mph) in the world. He was the Boston Cannon's Most Valuable Player in 2002 and Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2001. He is the Cannon's all-time leading goal scorer (114).
Evans played for Brown and was a three-time All American (1994, 1995, 1996), Ivy League Player of the Year (1995), Ivy League Rookie of the Year (1993), and four-time All Ivy League. He was named to the All Millennium Team (2000) and All Decade Team ('90s).
He currently is a middle school science teacher at the Wheeler School.
