A 2001 graduate of The University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in general biology, Christopher was a four-year standout for the Wildcats. She was named first team Regional All-American following her senior season and second team Nationall All-American. Also as a senior, she was named first team All-Conference while she led her team in scoring with 56 goals and 10 assists for a school-record 66 points.
Christopher graduated as the second leading goal scorer in New Hampshire history with 137, and fifth all time in career points with 152. She finished her career by scoring a goal in 35 consecutive games - 29 multiple-goal games - and recorded 100 tallies in that span (2.86 per game). She was also a three-time selection of the U.S. National Developmental Team (2000-01). She was also named Wildcat of the Year in 2001 for UNH.
