(MORE) ![]() Three on Women's Lacrosse Team Named to 2008 IWLCA National Academic Honor Roll Three members of the Brown women's lacrosse team are among 159 Division I student-athletes from across the country recognized on the 2008 IWLCA National Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a member of the varsity lacrosse team, must have achieved junior or senior standing academically, and must have achieved a GPA of 3.20 or higher. Brown is also one of 50 teams to earn the 2008 IWLCA National Academic Team Award. This award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2007-2008 academic year. Across the league, all eight Ivy League schools earned the Academic Team Award. Individually, Brown led the league with three recipients, while Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn, and Princeton each had two. (MORE) ![]() Spring Academic All-Ivy Honorees Announced The Ivy League released its spring list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with ten Brown student-athletes being honored. The five females and five males were starters or key reserves on officially recognized varsity teams with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
