USA Hockey announced the 36-player roster and six-day schedule for the 2004 United States Women's National Team Training Camp, set for December 27, 2003-January 1, 2004 at the Colorado Springs World Arena. Four Brown alumnae and two current players were selected to the team.

Goaltender Pam Dreyer '03, defender Kim Insalaco '03, forward Kathleen Kauth '01, forward Katie King '97, defender Amy McLaughlin '05, and forward Keaton Zucker '06 were selected to the team to represent Brown. Dreyer, Insalaco, Kauth, and King were members of the 2003 U.S. Women's Select Team. McLaughlin and Zucker have been strong for the Bears so far this season. McLaughlin has five points (2g, 3a) and Zucker has 10 points (5g, 5a).

The camp will serve as a major step in identifying the 2004 U.S. Women's National Team, which will compete at the International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship from March 30-April 6 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The participants at the camp will take part in daily practices at the World Arena. Practices are on Monday, December 29 through Thursday, January 1 and are open to the public. In addition, a public skate and autograph session will take place at 12:00 p.m. on December 31.

Included on the roster are 19 members of the 2003 U.S. Select Team, which captured the Four Nations Cup title in Sweden last month. Ten Olympians will also be in attendance as well as 16 players with U.S. Women's National and/or Select Team experience.
