Brown Women's Hockey Gears up for Weekend Series Against St. Lawrence

Friday's contest will be the first of two games this weekend against the Saints, with the second game taking place on Saturday, December 1 at 4:00pm. Having lost two of its last three games, the Bears enter Friday's game at 3-3-1 overall and 3-2-0 in the ECAC.
Brown and St. Lawrence met twice last season, with the Saints winning the first matchup, 3-2 in Canton, while the teams skated to a 2-2 (OT) tie at the second game, in Providence. Brown leads the overall series record, 15-4-0, and Head Coach Digit Murphy is 14-4-1 against the Saints.
The Bears have had a truly balanced attack thus far this season, as three players are currently tied for first place in recorded points, and 15 players have recorded the teams 25 goals, and 18 players have notched at least one point. Senior co-captain Kristy Zamora (Oshawa, ONT) totals 4-3-7 on the season, while sophomore Krissy McManus (Dedham, MA) has recorded 3-4-7 and junior Courtney Johnson (Falmouth, MA) has 0-7-7. Freshman Jessica Link (Clifton Park, NY) and Zamora lead the team in goals, with four each.
Brown's goaltending has been split between junior Pam Dreyer (Eagle River, AK) and sophomore Katie Germain (Sarnia, ONT). Dreyer maintains a .896 save percentage, with a 2.70 GAA, while recording one shutout. Germain ranks 2nd in the nation in GAA, having allowed only three goals in the three games in which she has played. Germain also ranks 5th in the country in save percentage, with .943 on the season.
