Women's Ice Hockey Names 2005-06 Captain and Assistant Captain

Providence, RI - The women's ice hockey team has announced its captain and assistant captain for the 2005-06 season. Next season's captain will be senior defender Ashlee Drover (Bay Roberts, NF) and senior forward Keaton Zucker (Guilford, NH) will serve as the assistant captain of the Bears.

Drover will be heading into her senior season, having played in 87 games, has tallied six goals and 19 assists for 25 points over the past three seasons. This past season's Alli McMillan "Unsung Hero" recipient, Drover battled back from an early season injury to help the Bears' defensive core rank as one of the best in the ECACHL.

Also heading into her senior season, Zucker has played in 95 games netting 29 goals and 45 assists for 74 points in her career so far as a Bear. Zucker is one of the Bears' most potent offensive threats, finishing fourth on the team in points and second in assists this past season.
