Winter Academic All-Ivy Honorees Announced

The Ivy League released its list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with ten Brown student-athletes being recognized.  The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.   


Men:

Duriel Hardy......... Jr........... Indoor Track & Field
Second Team All-Ivy in 5k; USTFCCCA Men's All-academic Team member.
Concentration:
Neuroscience

Adam Pantel ......... Jr. ..........Fencing
NCAA participant; NFC Fencer of the Year and First Team All-Ivy selection; Compiled 26-1 record in conference matches.
Concentration:
Computer Science/Math

Matt Mullery ......... Sr. ..........Basketball
First Team All-Ivy; Ivy League's fourth leading scorer (16.1 ppg); Led League in field goad percentage (.606) and blocked shots (2.1 per game).
Concentration: History

Daniel Ricketts ......... Sr.  ..........Swimming & Diving
Second Team All-Ivy in 100 Free; Broke four individual Brown records while at Ivy Championships.

Mathematics & Computer Science

Matt Vokes ......... Sr. .......... Ice Hockey
Second Team All-Ivy; Assistant Captain; Brown's leading scorer with 28 points (11g, 17a).
Concentration: Economics

Women:

Anna Bengtson ......... Sr.  ..........Skiing
Team Captain; Four-time USCSA All-Academic
Concentration: Geology-Biology

Danielle Grunloh ......... Jr. ..........Track & Field
First Team All-Ivy; Beat previous personal best in the shot put by three feet at Heps.
Concentration: Human Biology

Charlotte Rose ......... Sr. .......... Fencing
Second Team All-NFC; Helped Brown to a 10-2 record in NFC matches.
Concentration: Egyptology & Anthropology

Charlotte Steel ......... Sr. .......... Squash
Playing No. 1 for Bears, she led Brown to a 9th place finish at the Howe Cup National Championships.
Concentration: Political Science

Nicole Stock ......... Sr. ..........Ice Hockey
Second Team All-Ivy and Third Team All-ECAC Hockey; Broke her own record for saves in a single season and also set career saves record.
