Bears Place Eight on ECAC All-Academic Team

The Brown women's Ice Hockey team led the way with eight student-athletes named to the ECAC All-Academic Team along with Cornell and Princeton. 63 student-athletes were named to the 2004 ECAC JPMorgan Chase All-Academic Team this year.

Brown honorees included seniors Sarah Crowley (human biology), Kelly Sheridan (Psychology), juniors Jessica Link (Business Economics), Amy McLaughlin (Cognitive Science), Krissy McManus (History), and sophomores Ashlee Drover (Undeclared), Myria Heinhuis (Undeclared), and Keaton Zucker (Undeclared).

Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they have completed at least one academic year, have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have competed in at least one-half of their team's games during the current season.

The women's league, which has been in existence since 1993-94, includes Brown, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, St. Lawrence, Vermont and Yale.
