Women's Hockey's Kim Insalaco Earns USCHO Offensive Player of the Week

This marks the second consecutive week that a Brown player has received the honor, as Courtney Johnson was last week's Player of the Week.
Insalaco was also named the ECAC Northern Division Player of the Week this past Monday. The Brown defender totaled five points in last weekend's wins over Niagara and Connecticut.
Insalaco totals 5-17-22 on the season, which ranks second on the team in total points. Nationally, Insalaco ranks 1st in the nation in points per game for defensemen, while her assist total ranks second in the nation in assists per game.
Brown (11-6-1, 6-3-0) is currently on a five game wining streak, and ranked #9 in the latest USCHO and #10 in USA/TODAY's January 23 national poll. The Bears return to action on Saturday January 26 for a 7:00pm contest against University of New Hampshire at Meehan Auditorium.
