The Lakers got on the board first, when Randi Pilar netted her 7th goal of the season at the 17:00 mark of the first period. Freshman Kerry Nugent (Andover, MA) evened the score at 1-1 on a shorthanded tally. Kristy Zamora and Jessica Link assisted on Nugent's goal. Sophomore Katie Germain recorded 5 saves in the period.

In the second period, the Lakers regained the lead, when Chrissy Yule scored at the 2:54 mark of the period. Junior Courtney Johnson tied the score with 1:36 remaining in the period, when she tipped in a rebound in front of the net. Krissy McManus and Kim Insalaco were credited with the assists on the power play goal.

McManus opened the third period scoring, netting her 11th goal of the season at the 10:47 mark of the final stanza. Zamora increased Brown's lead to 4-2 at 18:29 of the period, firing shot from the point that found the back of the net.

Sophomore Katie Germain finished the night with 25 saves. The win made her season record 9-3-0.
