Feb. 10, 2002

Despite out shooting the Catamounts, 18-5, Brown lit the lamp only once in the first period, as senior Kristy Zamora found the back of the net with just over one minute remaining in the period. The tally was Zamora's 20th of the season, and her first shorthanded goal of the season.

Sophomore, Kelly Sheridan put the Bears up 2-0 at 6:17 of the 2nd period. Jenny Rice and Katie Guay were credited with the assists on Sheridan's goal.

Kim Insalaco gave the Bears an insurance goal, scoring on empty net with under 30 seconds remaining in the game. The score was Insalaco's 6th of the season.

Sophomore Katie Germain played a solid game in net for the Bears, recording her 4th shut out of the 2001-2002 season. Germain posted seven saves on the night.
