Behind senior Kristy Zamora's tremendous offensive display, the Bears took a 3-0 lead going into the first intermission. Zamora tallied all three goals for the Bears in the first period, scoring first on a rocket just past the blue line at the 5:24 mark of the period. Zamora tallied her second and third goals at 17:29 and 19:39, respectively. Senior Meredith Ostrander (Prescott, Ontario) and junior Kim Insalaco (Rochester, NY) recorded two assists in the period.
Insalaco opened the second period scoring, when she netted her 4th goal of the season at the 1:54 mark of the period, making the score 4-0. Sophomore Krissy McManus tallied a goal at the 11:30 point, with Zamora and Insalaco assistsing on the goal. Freshman Jess Link recorded her sixth and seventh goals of the season, wen she netted goals at the 14:45 and 18:38 marks of the second period.
In the third period, junior Marguerite McDonald (Richboro, PA) made the score 8-0, netting her third goal of the season.
Sophomore Katie Germain (Sarnia, Ontario) was virtually uncontested on the night, and totaled 15 saves in the game.
The Bears now stand at 6-5-1 overall and 4-3-0 in the ECAC.
