2012-13: Played in all 27 games of the season, continuing her streak of appearances in every game for the Bears during her time at Brown … recorded two goals, scoring both during power play … scored her first goal in a 2-1 victory over Union on Feb. 15, and her second goal the following day during a 5-2 win over Rensselaer … led the team with 43 blocks, tallied two assists, and made 33 shots on goal … ECAC All-Academic Team selection.
2011-12: A top line defender for the Bears all season long she was one of just eight players to appear in all 31 games … scored one goal … recorded 12 assists, the highest total on the team … tied for third on the team with 13 total points.
2010-11: A force on the blueline in her first season, Nedow appeared in every game ... led the team with seven assists ... tallied 37 shots on goal ... totaled seven penalties for 14 minutes.
Before Brown: played the 2009-10 season for the Ottawa Senators Junior AA women's team ... served as a captain in both ice hockey and volleyball during her senior year of high school ... was a four-sport varsity letterwinner, including basketball, where she was the senior division Rookie of the Year in 2007-08.
Personal: Jennifer W. Nedow is the daughter of Jim and Wendy Nedow of Brockville, Ontario … Has two brothers, Tim, who is on the Track and Field team at University of DePaul, and Tom … an honor roll student for all four years at Thousand Islands Secondary School … received both the Matheson Award for Leadership and the Principal’s Award for Student Leadership during her senior year.
