2013-2014: Earned two starts as a rookie, playing a total of 73:59 minutes…Made her career debut against Maine, where she made 23 saves and did not give up a goal in 30:58 minutes of action…Recorded 22 saves in the Bears’ 4-0 loss to #6 Cornell on February 1.

Before Brown:
Graduated Cum Laude from Oakland Tech and Service High School … Competed on the Track & Field team at her high school and played ice hockey for several club teams, including Capital Thunder Boys Midget 18A and Alaska Allstars Girls 19AAA … in the 2012-13 season, was part of the Capital Thunder team that were the State Champions, as well as the Alaska AllStars team that won the Regional Championship and went on to compete at Nationals … Elvin was ranked first at Nationals after round robin play, during which she recorded two shutouts and a .967 save percentage. 

Personal: Monica is the daughter of Max and Laura Elvin of Penryn, California … She has one brother, Gabriel … She enjoys camping, hiking, and playing sports.
