Brown Hosts Sacred Heart In Home-Opener
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's ice hockey team makes its 2010-11 Meehan Auditorium debut this Saturday at 1 p.m. when they take on Sacred Heart. In each of their first three games in 2010-11, Bear netminders have made at least 30 stops versus their opponents. Both sophomore Katie Jamieson (Waterloo, Ontario) and freshman Aubree Moore (Bowie, Md.) have seen extensive time in net. Jamieson has played 100 minutes in goal while making 56 saves. Freshman goalie Alexius Schutt has seen the majority of the time in net for Sacred Heart, starting each game and racking up 325 minutes between the pipes. She has made 265 saves and has a .898 save percentage, but has allowed 30 goals for a 5.53 goals-against average.
