Bears Finish 13th At Spider Fall Invitational

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. - The Brown women's golf team shot a two-day 666 to place 13th overall at the University of Richmond Spider Fall Invitational, played on the par-72 6,118 yard Independence Country Club. The University of Maryland captured the team title with a two-day 600, coming from behind on the second day to overtake Wofford, who finished at 603.
Freshman Heather Arison paced the Brown team for the second straight tournament, shooting a two-day 161 on rounds of 81-80, to finish 40th individually. Sophomore Sarah Guarascio finished with a two-round 164 after shooting 77-87.
Freshman Carly Arison came in at 174 overall after shooting a second round 83 for the Bears. Junior Kendalle Bennett carded a second round 87 to finish with a two-round 178. Sophomore Julia Robinson, who posted an 80 in the first round, withdrew from the second round.
The Bears will wrap-up their fall season on October 26-27, at the Sacred Heart Invitational in Connecticut.
