Bears Finish 8th at Yale Fall Intercollegiate Tournament

New Haven, CT - The Brown women's golf team placed eighth at the Yale Fall Intercollegiate Tournament, held at the par 70 Yale Golf Club. Brown shot a two-day 648 with rounds of 326 and 326, finishing behind Rollins College (593), Yale (614), Columbia (637), Georgetown (637), Harvard (637) and St. John's (640), and placing ahead of Dartmouth (655), Bucknell (677) and Penn (685).

Leading the way for the Bears was senior Eleanor Thomas, who shot 83-76-159 to place 19th individually. Senior Emily Washington placed 27th with a two day 162 (79-83), while freshman Karin Freed finished 28th at 163 (83-80).

Also competing for the Bears were sophomore Blythe Crane (82-83-165), sophomore Tiffany Wade (82-84-166), freshman Christine Pappas (86-98-184) and senior Monica Skeldon (102-93-185).
