Bears Open Season With 6th Place Finish At Dartmouth Invitational

Hanover, New Hampshire - Brown opened its 2007-2008 women's golf season with a sixth place finish at the 14-team Dartmouth Women's Golf Invitational at the Dartmouth Golf Club. Coach Danielle Griffith's team shot a two-day 666 on scores of 325, 341 to place sixth.

Senior captain Blythe Crane once again led the Bears, placing 19th individually with a two-day 164 (81, 83). Freshman Sarah Guarascio also excelled for the Bears, also finishing in a tie for 19th place with a two-round 164 (79, 85).

Freshman Julie Robinson finished in 27th place in her first collegiate tournament, shooting scores of 81-85--166. Junior Holly Snyder placed 40th at 172 (84,88), while freshman Susan Restrepo came in at 177 (88, 89).
