Bears Earn Seventh Place Finish At Ivy League Championship

Atlantic City, New Jersey - Atlantic City, New Jersey - The Brown women's golf team finished seventh at the Ivy League Championship with a three-round 997, shooting 327, 341 and 329 at the par-72 Atlantic City Country Club. Senior Blythe Crane placed 25th individually for the Bears.
Harvard captured the team title with a three-round 890, followed by Columbia (900), Princeton (901), Yale (928), Penn (936), Dartmouth (995) and Brown (997).
Crane completed her Brown career by carding 82-81-79--242 at the Atlantic City Course, founded in 1897 and the home of six USGA Major Championships. Freshman Sarah Guarascio, playing in her first Ivy Championship, came in with scores of 84-82-80--246 to place 27th individually.
Two more freshmen had strong outings in their first Ivy tournament. Julia Robinson came inwith scores of 80-88-84--252 to finish 30th, while Susan Restrepo came in at 81-90-86--257. Sophomore Kendalle Bennett place 34th individually with 89-93-91--273.
