Bears Drop Spring Opener To San Diego State

CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Brown opened its spring season on the West Coast, dropping a dual-match decision to San Diego State. The Bears posted a 349 score over the 18 holes, while the Aztecs came in at 310 at the par-72 Salt Creek Golf Course in Chula Vista, California.

Brown was led by a trio of freshmen, Sarah Guarascio, who shot 83. Julia Robinson, who came in at 87, and Susan Restrepo, who carded 89 for the Bears.
