WALLACE, N.C. - Brown placed 11th in the highly competitive 9th Annual North Carolina Wilmington Lady Seahawk Classic played at the River Landing Golf Club. The Bears finished with a three-round 983 (324, 315, 344). East Tennessee State came from behind to capture the team championship with a three-round total of 903, followed by Elon (909), East Carolina (318), North Carolina-Wilmington (931), Augusta State (934), North Carolina-Greensboro (934), Maryland (940), James Madison (943), Wofford (952), Longwood (954), Brown (983) and Appalachian State (995).
Sophomore Julia Robinson was Brown's top scorer in the tournament and 38th overall, shooting 240 over the three rounds on scores of 78, 78, 84. Freshmen Heather Arison and Carly Arison each came in at 248, with Heather shooting 86, 77, 85, and Carly carding 81, 81, 86.
Freshman Megan Tuohy was Brown's fourth scorer, carding a three-round 250 (82, 79, 89), while sophomore Sarah Guarascio came in at 259, shooting 83, 87, 89. Sophomore Susan Restrepo played as an individual and withdrew in the final round.
The Bears will be back in action again on April 4-5, hosting the Brown Invitational at the Thorny Lea Golf Club in Brockton, Mass.
