Women’s Golf Completes Fall Season With Fourth Place Finish at the Delaware Invitational


Rehoboth, DE – The Brown women women's golf team completed its fall season on a high note, placing fourth at the University of Delaware Blue Hen Invitational, played at the par 71, 5978 yard Rehoboth Beach Golf Club.  Brown shot 322-322-315—959 in the 54-hole, 10-team event.


Delaware captured the team championship by 16 shots at its home course with a 54-hole 909 on scores of 303-308-298.  Penn finished second at 925, followed by Rollins (929), Brown (959), Towson (960), LIU Brooklyn (968), Central Connecticut (980), Delaware II (990), Monmouth (997) and Delaware State (1020).


Junior Stephanie Hsieh continued her outstanding career at Brown with a Top 10 finish, placing eighth individually after rounds of 79-77-76—232. Sophomore Lauren Flynn placed 15th individually by shooting 78-80-78—236.


Freshman Rosanna Lederhausen came through in 23rd place with scores of 79-83-79—241.  Sophomore Juliette Garay shot 86-82-82—250, while junior Cassandra Carothers came in at 88-90-93—271.
