Northfield, NJ - Junior Carly Arison shot 73 and junior Megan Tuohy shot 76 in the final round to help the Brown women's golf team to a sixth place finish at the Ivy League Women's Golf Championship played at the historic Atlantic City Country Club. Brown shot 311 on Sunday and finished the tournament with a 54-hole 966.
Yale shot a 54-hole total of 913 to captured the team title by four shots over Harvard (917), followed by Princeton (920), Penn (922), Columbia (945), Brown (966) and Dartmouth (967)
Touhy was Brown's top finisher on rounds of 77-84-76—237 to place 18th individually. Arison's one-over par 73 included four birdies and five bogeys on the par-72 6,100 yard layout. Arison improved each day, shooting 91-76-73—240 to finish 73.
Junior Heather Arison, playing in her third Ivy Championship, finished the tournament with a 54-hole 246 on rounds of 79-81-85. Senior Sarah Guarascio had a strong finishes for the Bears, shooting 78 on Sunday after rounds of 85-85 to shoot 248. Senior captain Susan Restrepo scored 84 on Sunday to finish at 257.
