Bolton, Mass. – All seven Ivy League women's golf schools were competing at the Harvard Invitational, played at the par-72 International Golf Club. Brown placed fifth overall with a two-day 652 on rounds of 331-321.
Yale captured the team title with a two-day 609, capturing the championship by two shots over Harvard (611). Penn took third place at 625, followed by Princeton (628), Brown, Dartmouth (654) and Columbia (655).
Bears' junior Megan Tuohy played a solid tournament for the Bears and placed sixth individually by shooting 76-76—152.
Junior Carly Arison shot the low round of the tournament with 75 on Saturday and finished the tournament at 166. She also had a rare hole-in-one, hitting a five iron into the cup on the 155-yard fourth hole.
Senior captain Susan Restrepo finished at 169 overall with a final round 81 on Sunday, while senior Sarah Guarascio shot 171 (82-89) for the two-day tournament. Junior Heather Arison completed the Brown scoring with a two-round 178.
The Bears will play their final tournament of a successful fall season next weekend, October 24-25, at the Sacred Heart Invitational, played at the Great River Country Club in Milford, Connecticut.
