Hanover, New Hampshire - The Brown women's golf team completed a successful outing at the 22-team Dartmouth Invitational, placing fifth overall with a two-round 649 at the par-72, 5807 yard Hanover Country Club.
Boston College captured the team title by nine shots with a two-day 611, followed by Towson (620), Dartmouth (633), Siena (635), Brown (649), Williams (658), Hofstra (660), Fairfield (660), Wellesley (663), LIU (664), Amherst (668), NYU (669), Hartford (670), Albany (675), Central Connecticut (678), Middlebury (681), Boston U. (692), Holy Cross (692), Vassar (702), Mt. Holyoke (719), Cortland (752) and Niagara (773).
The Bears were paced by junior Megan Tuohy, who finished 10th individually with a two day 155 (77-78). Junior Carly Arison shot 81-878—159, for a top 20 finish individually, while senior Sarah Guarascio came in at 168 on rounds of 85-83.
The Bears will be back in action again next weekend, September 25-26, at the Yale Invitational in New Haven, Conn.
