Restrepo's 73 Helps Brown Takes 3rd Place At Dartmouth Invitational

Hanover, New Hampshire -  Brown opened its 2009 fall season with a strong performance at the Dartmouth Invitational held at the par-72 Hanover Country Club, finishing third in the 20-team field with a two-day 631 (315, 316), just six shots behind first place Towson (625) and four shots behind second place Boston College (627).

Junior captain Susan Restrepo came through on Sunday with a sizzling one-over par 73 to finish 10th individually with a two-day 156.  Junior Julia Robinson also placed 10th individually, shooting 76-80—156.

Sophomore Sarah Guarascio finished 17th individually in the 103 player field, shooting 76-83—159. Sophomore Megan Tuohy enjoyed a consistent tournament, shooting 80 in the final round to place 25th overall at 161.  Sophomore Heather Arison also scored for the Bears, shooting 82-85—167.

Coach Danielle Griffiths team will be back in action again on September 26-27, at the Yale Invitational, held at the Yale Golf Club.
