Vincent, Townsend, and Boris Earn All-Ivy Field Hockey Honors

Brown field hockey juniors Kristen Vincent (Glens Falls, NY), Brooke Townsend (Stamford, CT), and Lindsay Boris (Shavertown, PA) have all earned 2004 All-Ivy Field Hockey honors.

A two-year starter at sweeper, Vincent was a unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection. She led the team in scoring with 15 points (6g, 3a), including two goals against Sacred Heart. Vincent also led the team with five defensive saves, after leading the team with three defensive saves last season.

Townsend earned Second Team All-Ivy recognition, finishing this season as Brown's fourth-leading scorer with 7 points (3g, 1a), including two goals against Albany. A three-year starter, Townsend has 16 career points (7g, 2a).

An Honorable Mention selection this season, Boris has started in the midfield since her freshman season. She notched the first points of her career this year with three goals, including the game-winning goal against Rhode Island.

Brown finished the season with a 5-11 record and a 2-5 mark in the Ivy League. The Bears return 10 starters for next season, along with nine of their top 10 scorers from the 2004 team.
