Buza, who earned First Team All-Ivy and First Team Regional All-American honors in the fall, has been a leading scorer for the Bears in each of her first three seasons. Last year, she was both a Second Team All-Ivy and Second Team Regional All-American selection. Buza is one of Brown's best all-around players, and a dominant force in the midfield. She finished the season with 13 points, on four goals and five assists, including three goals and two assists in Ivy League competition.
After leading this year's team in scoring with 33 points (13g, 7a), Pierpont earned Second Team Regional All-American recognition. Also a Second Team All-Ivy selection, she was named the Ivy League Player of the Week after an 11 point week, including tying a Brown single-game point record with eight points against Columbia. In Ivy League competition, Pierpont totaled 19 points on eight goals and three assists.
Brown finished the season with a 7-9 record and returns five of the top eight scorers and the majority of the defense for next season.
