DURHAM, NH - The Brown field hockey team (0-1) opened its season on Friday afternoon at the University of New Hampshire, and fell to the Wildcats, 5-2. With the score tied 1-1 late in the first half, UNH used a 4-0 run, including three straight goals to open the second half, to break open the game and post a 5-2 win over the Bears. The game remained tied at 1-1 until the 25th minute when the Wildcats' Brittany Jacobs tallied her first goal of the season to give New Hampshire a 2-1 lead heading into the break.
