Hebert played field hockey for four years at Providence, where she garnered many honors. She was the leading scorer for the Friars her senior year with 13 goals and four assists, finishing her collegiate career ranking sixth all-time at Providence in points, amassing a total of 105 points. She was selected to the All-Northeast Region second team in 1999 and was named to the All-Big East First Team in 1997 and 1998, earning a Second Team notice in 1999. In addition, as a freshman Hebert was selected to the 1996 Big East All-Rookie Team.
She participated in the USFHA Futures Program Coaching Certification Course in January 2000 and served as a USFHA Head Coach at Brown University the last two years. In addition, she was she head coach for the Under-19 Dallas Team at the National Futures Tournament in July 2002.
A native of Enfield, Connecticut, Hebert received a bachelor's degree in social science from Providence in 2000.
