Field Hockey Travels to Bryant for First Road Contest of 2012
In its first road game of the season, the Brown field hockey team (2-1) will make the short trip to Smithfield, RI on Friday to take on the Bryant Bulldogs (1-5) at 7p.m. on the Bryant Turf Complex. After a loss to UNH in their season opener, the Bears have taken full advantage of their new field, defeating both Vermont (3-2) and Colgate (4-2). With six different players contributing to the Bears' offensive effort, Coach Jill Reeve's squad looks to turn the team's cohesiveness into success on the road.
Brown fans who won't be joining the team in Smithfield can follow the Bears online. Bryant will provide live video (free), and live stats (free) for the game. Links to both can be found below as well as on the field hockey schedule on BrownBears.com.
