Field Hockey Continues Homestand Against Colgate on Saturday at Noon

In the midst of a season-opening three-game homestand, the Brown field hockey team (1-1) resumes action after splitting its first two games with UNH (L, 9-1) and Vermont (W, 3-2). The Bears host Colgate on Saturday in a 12:00 noon contest, looking to build upon the momentum from coming back in the final five minutes of play to beat the Catamounts last Saturday.

Brown fans not making the trip to Providence for this weekend's games can follow all the action online. Brown will provide live video ($8) and live stats (free) and links can be found either on the field hockey schedule on or below.

ABOUT BROWN: The Bears are coming off a 3-2 victory over Vermont, during which Brown scored twice in the game's final five minutes to turn a 2-1 deficit into a win.
