Providence, RI - The Brown women's crew race against Yale and Northeastern originally scheduled for Saturday, April 29 on the Seekonk River has been pushed back to Sunday, April 30. The first race will be held at 10:10 a.m. with subsequent races starting every 20 minutes.
Yale, ranked fourth in the nation, defeated the Brown varsity eight by 2.1 seconds during the regular season last year. The Bulldogs placed first to Brown's third at the 2005 EAWRC Sprints as well.
The Bears have earned five race sweeps the last three weeks as they prep for the annual EAWRC Sprints. Brown will be looking to capture its third straight team title. The varsity eight, 7-2 on the year, has been ranked ninth in the nation for much of the season. Brown's junior varsity is undefeated with a 9-0 mark.
