Women's Varsity Four Places Second at Foot of the Charles

Brown's varsity four women's crew finished in second with a 16:05.2 at the Foot of the Charles on Saturday morning. This regatta concludes the fall racing season for Brown crew as they will now turn their focus to winter training.

In the varsity fours race, Radcliffe "A" came in first with a 15:50.8, as Boston University "A" posted a third place finish with a 16:18.2. Brown "B" came in eighth place with a time of 16:38.7, and Brown "D" finished in ninth with a time of 16:38.7. Brown "E" posted a 16:50.7 for 12th, and Brown "C" finished with a 16:54.6 for 14th.

In a field of 26 boats competing in the novice eight race, Brown "A" earned first with a 15:12.7. Finishing behind the Bears was Radcliffe "A" (15:28.7), Northeastern "A" (16:04.2) in third, and Dartmouth "A" in fourth with a 16:20.1. Brown's novice "B" finished ahead of all other "B" boats with a 10th place finish with a 17:59.0.
