#8 Bears Take Three Out Four Against Yale and Northeastern In Regular Season Finale

Derby, CT - The eighth ranked Brown women's crew took three of four races against sixth ranked Yale and Northeastern on Saturday in Derby, CT. Despite taking second in the varsity eight race, the Bears came away with wins in the three other races. The first novice eight remains undefeated this season with another dominating victory. Brown timed in at 6:50.7 while the Bulldogs finished 20 seconds later.

The second and third varsity eight races went down to the wire as the Bears edged out Yale by 0.8 seconds in the second varsity and by 3.5 seconds in the third varsity.

Yale finished second behind Brown at the 2004 National Championship as the Bears defeated the Bulldogs in the varsity eight race by 1.7 seconds. The Bears' varsity eight will enter the Eastern Sprints, which will be held in two weeks, with a 6-4 record.
