Women's Crew Defeats Rutgers

The Brown University Women's Crew team defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in all five races on the Raritan River Saturday April 12. The Bears are ranked seventh in the US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Women's Varsity Eights Poll.

Brown will compete at Boston University Saturday, April 19. The regatta is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m.

Varsity: Brown, 5:59.7; Rutgers, 6:16.2.

Second varsity: Brown, 6:08.7; Rutgers, 6:25.

Varsity fours: Brown, 6:51.9; Rutgers, 7:11.6.

Novice eights: Brown, 6:10.2; Rutgers, 6:32.2.

Second novice fours: Brown, 7:01.2; Rutgers, 7:22.7
