No. 6 Women’s Crew Wins Two of Three with Cal and USC, Finishes Second Overall at Lake Natoma Classic

GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The sixth-ranked Brown women's crew team finished the Lake Natoma Classic in second place overall after winning the second varsity eight and varsity four against No. 1 California and No. 4 Southern California on Sunday. The Bears finished with eight overall team points, trailing only Cal with nine points.

Brown finished just 3.6 seconds off the lead in the varsity eight but emerged victorious in the second varsity eight (6:31.6) and varsity four (7:19.4).

The Bears return to the Seekonk River on Saturday when they host Boston University.
