      <description>The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the 2011 Pocock All- America award winners and Brown women&#x2019;s crew rowers Allison Courtin &#x2018;12 (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Tessa Gobbo &#x2018;13 (Chesterfield, N.H.) were both honored. Both Courtin and Gobbo were in the Bears&#x2019; varsity eight boat for the past two years, including Bruno&#x2019;s national championship victory last season.</description>

      <title>Brown Women&#x2019;s Crew Places 14th at 2012 Division I NCAA Championship</title>

      <description>On Championship Sunday at Lake Mercer, the Brown University Women&#x2019;s Crew finished 14th overall at the 2012 NCAA Division I Regatta. The Bears totaled 25 team points with its second varsity eight boat finishing third in the petite final, the varsity eight taking bronze in the third level final and the varsity four earning second in its third final. It was the 16th-consecutive season that the Bears advanced to the NCAA Championship.</description>
