Providence, RI - Freshman Lindsay Walls (Santa Cruz, CA) has recently been selected to the Ivy League's All-Rookie Team after closing out the 2006- 2007 basketball season last weekend.

Walls, a six-foot-three center for the Bears, saw action in 24 games and earned a starting spot in Brown's final seven games of the season. She ended the season averaging 5.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Early in the season, Walls scored a career-high 11 points in Brown's 66-62 victory over Rhode Island, and then recorded her first double-double a few weeks later against Penn (2/2) with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Against Columbia (2/10), Walls received her first collegiate start, and went 6-8 from the field for 13 points during the Bears 57-54 win over the Lions. Her last two weekends proved to be her best, as she netted 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds in Brown's 72-69 double-overtime victory over Columbia (2/23), which earned her Ivy League Rookie of the Week Honors.

Walls put together another outstanding performance in Brown's season finale against Penn, earning Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive time. Although the Bears lost 72-56, Walls combined for 19 points and six rebounds.
