Sophomore Holly Robertson (Cochrane, Alberta) recorded a career high 22 points as the Brown University Women's Basketball team defeated the Pennsylvania Quakers 83-72. The Bears are now 12-9 overall and 6-2 in the Ivy League and remain second in the Ivy League.
Robertson also pulled down ten boards to record her second double double of the year and third of her career. Also recording a double double was freshman Sarah Hayes (Beaufort, SC) who accumulated ten points and pulled down 12 boards.
Junior Nyema Mitchell (Birmingham, AL) led the Bears in points recording 24 points. Mitdchell also grabbed seven rebounds to aide the Bears in their sixth Ivy League win.
Freshman Colleen Kelly (Rochester, NY) and junior Tanara Golston (Skokie, IL) also scored in double digits for the Bears. Kelly netted 13 points, and dished out six assists as Golston recorded 11 points and four assists.
Brown will travel to Columbia and Cornell this weekend February 21st and 22nd both games beginning at 7:00 p.m.
